Simba Give Sowah Three Days to Respond as Disciplinary Case Deepens

Tanzanian giants Simba SC have given Ghanaian winger Jonathan Sowah three days to respond to disciplinary issues raised by the club as his suspension from team activities continues.

According to reports from within the club, Simba’s management has formally communicated several concerns to the player, outlining a series of alleged breaches of team regulations.

Among the issues cited are repeated lateness to team meetings and training sessions, as well as an alleged refusal to participate in additional “top-up” training sessions arranged by the technical staff.

The club has also questioned Sowah’s decision to travel to Angola wearing a jersey of Portuguese side SL Benfica instead of official Simba club attire, a move believed to have further strained relations between the player and the club’s hierarchy.

Simba are now awaiting the player’s explanation within the three-day window before determining the next steps regarding the matter.

The situation has drawn attention among supporters of the Tanzanian Premier League side, with the club expected to decide on possible sanctions once Sowah submits his response.
