Kitara will move top of the table for at least 24 hours if they overcome UPDF at Bombo on Friday.

Wasswa Bbosa’s men lie second on the table with 39 points, two behind Vipers who will play away to Mbarara City on Saturday.

UPDF are struggling for survival and are second from bottom with 12 points, three behind safety positions. At MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo, KCCA host Police aiming to keep pace with leaders Vipers.

KCCA come into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Buhimba and sit 3rd on the standings with 36 points. Police who beat the Kasasiro 2-0 in the reverse fixture have Ivan Ahimbisibwe to bank on for goals.

Elsewhere, BUL host bottom of the table Calvary at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru looking to close in on to the top seven sides while in form NEC take on Lugazi in Najjembe.
