

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have remained 26th in the latest men’s world rankings released by FIFA.
The updated rankings, published on Wednesday, reflect the team’s recent performances during the March international window.
The Super Eagles played two friendly matches, facing Iran national football team and Jordan national football team in Antalya, Turkey.
Nigeria secured a 2-1 win over Iran but settled for a 2-2 draw against Jordan.
Despite those results, the team’s position on the global table remains unchanged.
Within Africa, Nigeria continue to rank third, behind Morocco national football team and Senegal national football team.
Morocco sit eighth in the world, while Senegal, after dropping two places, are now 14th.
At the top of the global standings, France national football team have moved ahead of Spain national football team to claim the number one position.
The next FIFA rankings update is scheduled for June 10, 2026.
