Through the intercontinental playoffs, the DRC became the 10th African nation to qualify for the next World Cup.
Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, South Africa, Cape Verde, Ghana, and the DRC are now preparing with their stars for an unprecedented competition.
On the other hand, some of the continent’s biggest names will be absent.
While their dream was to lead their national teams through these qualifiers, the journey proved to be difficult.
