The latest ranking of the highest salaries in La Liga has revealed a surprising detail. While Kylian Mbappé dominates the list as the league’s top earner, alongside Vinicius Jr., one notable name is missing: Lamine Yamal.
Despite being one of the brightest stars in Spanish football, the FC Barcelona winger does not feature among the top five highest-paid players.
After turning 18 and signing a new contract, Yamal did receive a significant salary increase, now earning around €1.33 million gross per month. However, this amount still falls short compared to the league’s biggest earners. His contract does include several performance-related bonuses, which could substantially boost his income over time, reflecting both his potential and his growing importance at Barcelona.
