The Moroccan Football Federation has officially unveiled the list of players selected for the national team’s upcoming pre-World Cup training camp as preparations begin ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The camp is scheduled to run from May 22 to 26 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat.
The squad features a mix of established local-based talents and promising young players, with several notable names included as Morocco continue building depth ahead of the global tournament. Experienced figures such as Ayoub El Kaabi, Imran Louza and Ismael Saibari headline the group, while a number of emerging players have also been handed opportunities to impress the coaching staff.
However, the federation clarified that this list should not be viewed as either the final World Cup squad or an official provisional roster for the tournament itself. Several key stars were unavailable for selection due to ongoing club commitments and packed schedules with their respective teams across Europe and other leagues.
The training camp is expected to serve as an important evaluation period for the technical team as Morocco continue preparations following their recent rise on the international stage. Competition for places is anticipated to intensify in the coming months as more senior players return to contention ahead of the World Cup.
