Assistant coach Desmond Offei will take charge of the Ghana national football team during Friday’s international friendly against Mexico national football team in Puebla after head coach Carlos Queiroz was ruled out due to personal reasons.
Offei has overseen the Black Stars’ training sessions and preparations since the team arrived in Mexico and is now set to lead the side from the dugout as Ghana continue preparations toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
