Accra Hearts of Oak have officially parted ways with head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and his technical team following the conclusion of the 2025/26 football season.
The club confirmed the decision in an official statement released on Tuesday after what it described as a “comprehensive technical review” conducted by the Board.
Dramani, who was appointed at the beginning of the season, guided the Phobians to a third-place finish in the Ghana Premier League. Despite securing a respectable league position, sources within the club indicate that management were unconvinced by the overall progress made under his leadership.
According to insiders, the club hierarchy did not see any significant improvement compared to the performances and structure under the previous technical setup, a factor that heavily influenced the decision to make a change ahead of the new campaign.
In the statement, Hearts of Oak expressed appreciation to Dramani and his backroom staff for their professionalism, commitment and service during their time at the club.
“Under their guidance, Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the just-ended season, and we acknowledge the discipline and effort they brought to the technical setup,” part of the statement read.
The club also announced that the team and players are currently on recess, while the Board is expected to communicate the next technical direction of the club in due course as preparations begin for the 2026/27 season.
Hearts of Oak further assured supporters that every decision being taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch in pursuit of sustained domestic and continental success.
However, sources close to the club indicate that the Team/Welfare Manager is expected to be maintained despite the overhaul of the technical department.
