2026 FIFA World Cup: Official lineup for Japan vs Sweden

Japan and Sweden face off this Thursday at 11:00 p.m. GMT at AT&T Stadium in Arlington as part of the third and final matchday of Group F in the 2026 World Cup.

Both teams still have their qualification for the Round of 16 in their own hands.

Kubo is out with an injury for Japan. On the other side, Graham Potter has his full squad available.

Here are the lineups for both teams.

Japan: Suzuki – Itakura (c), Seko, H. Ito – Sugawara, Kamara, Tanaka, Nakamura – Doan, Maeda – Ueda.

Sweden: Widell Zetterstrom – Lagerbielke, Hien, Lindelof (c) – Bernhardsson, Stroud, Ayari, Gudmundsson – Elanga, Gyokeres, Isak.
