Osimhen Dismisses Unrest Rumours After Stellar Display in Galatasaray Win

Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has firmly denied reports suggesting he is unhappy at Turkish champions Galatasaray, insisting he remains fully committed to the club.

Speculation about the striker’s mood surfaced after he chose not to celebrate his goal during Galatasaray’s 3-2 defeat to Juventus in midweek.

However, the 25-year-old responded emphatically both on and off the pitch, delivering a goal and an assist in Saturday night’s 3-1 victory over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen dismissed any talk of internal issues.

“I have no problems with anyone. I’m happy at Galatasaray,” he said. “I celebrate goals most of the time.

There are moments when I don’t, and there was a reason for that in the Juventus match.”

The Super Eagles star went further to underline his strong bond with the club since his arrival.

“I’ve been on very good terms with everyone at Galatasaray from day one. I love my club, my coach, our fans, and our president,” he added.

Osimhen’s performances this season have backed up his words.

The prolific forward has now registered 17 goals and six assists in 25 appearances across all competitions, underlining his importance to manager Okan Buruk’s side as they push for domestic and continental success.

With his latest contribution against Alanyaspor, Osimhen not only silenced doubters but also reaffirmed his commitment to the Istanbul giants, sending a clear message that he remains focused and happy in Turkey.
