Following concerns over the unstable situation in Iran, Gabonese international Ibrahim Didier Ndong has broken his silence to reassure his community.
The midfielder announced that he had left Iran and sought refuge in Turkey, stating that he was safe and in good health.
He also confirmed his imminent return to Gabon, concluding his message with a note of hope and determination for the rest of his career.
His message in full: To you, dear fans, friends, and loved ones,I want to reassure you personally that I am alive, safe, and in good health. Due to the difficult situation in Iran, I made the decision to leave the country for safety reasons, and I am currently in Turkey, safe and sound, before returning to Gabon very soon. Thank you all for your support, messages, and affection. Continue to keep the faith and believe in me as I believe in you.
