Mamadou Sangare’s breakout campaign at RC Lens has put him firmly on Liverpool’s radar for the next transfer market.
The 23-year-old Malian international midfielder, known for his work rate and ability to break through defensive lines, is seen by Arne Slot as the ideal player to inject dynamism into the Red’s midfield.
The English club, known for its expertise in the French market, is reportedly ready to go on the offensive to stay ahead of the competition.
Although Sangare is under contract with the Sang et Or through 2030, an offer in the range of 35 to 40 million euros could convince the northern club’s management to let their new driving force go as early as this summer.
