Rwanda is preparing to host the upcoming FIFA Series during the current international break, with national teams from different confederations set to gather in the capital, Kigali, for the unique competition.

The tournament will feature eight national teams divided into two groups, with matches taking place at two venues in Kigali. Group A fixtures will be staged at the iconic Amahoro Stadium and will include hosts Rwanda national football team alongside Kenya national football team, Estonia national football team, and Grenada national football team.

Group B matches will be played at the Kigali Pelé Stadium and will feature Tanzania national football team, Aruba national football team, Macau national football team, and Liechtenstein national football team.

The FIFA Series initiative aims to give teams from different football regions the chance to face unfamiliar opponents, offering valuable competitive exposure and development opportunities outside their usual continental fixtures.

With Rwanda hosting the event, the tournament is also expected to shine a spotlight on the country’s growing football infrastructure while giving fans in Kigali the rare opportunity to witness a diverse mix of international teams in action.
