Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has lavished praise on French playmaker Rayan Cherki, describing him as “one of the world’s best” following eye-catching displays in training.

Semenyo, known for his direct attacking style, admitted that Cherki’s exceptional technical ability has made a significant impact on his own game, highlighting the ease with which the Frenchman influences play.

“Cherki’s one of the world’s best. He can literally do anything with the ball, he makes my life easy,” Semenyo said, underlining the creative midfielder’s importance in the attacking setup.

Reflecting on his first training session alongside Cherki, the Ghanaian forward recalled being left stunned by the level of skill on display.

“I remember my first day in training, some of the skills he was pulling off… I thought, ‘What kind of player is he?’ He’s a top player,” he added.

Cherki, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most technically gifted young talents, has built a reputation for his flair, close control, and ability to unlock defenses—qualities that have clearly impressed his teammate.
