Super Eagles Begin Unity Cup Preparations with First Training Session

The Nigeria national football team have officially opened camp in London, holding their first training session today as preparations intensify for the upcoming Unity Cup showdown against the Zimbabwe national football team.

A total of 14 players are already in camp, including Okonkwo, as the squad begins early preparations for the four-nation tournament featuring Nigeria, Zimbabwe, India, and Jamaica.

According to Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe, the early arrivals in camp include Junior Ayobami, Tijani Al Ameen, Michael Atata, Adeoye Aderemi, Chibueze Oputa, Ighoke Obinna, Elias Ocholi, and Tosin Oyedokun.

Others present are Philip Otele, Femi Azeez, Owen Oseni, Tochukwu Nnadi, and Terem Moffi, all joining the build-up as the coaching crew looks to assess fitness and team chemistry ahead of the competition.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to have their first training session today (Saturday) at 6pm at Cray Valley FC, Middle Park Avenue, marking the official start of on-field preparations.

The Unity Cup semi-final fixtures will see Nigeria face Zimbabwe on Tuesday, May 26, while India national football team take on Jamaica national football team on Wednesday, May 27, with the winners advancing to the final.
