WAFCON 2026: CAF decision imminent

Doubts remain over whether the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will go ahead as planned from March 17 to April 3 in Morocco.

Faced with growing uncertainty, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has promised to break its silence within 48 hours to clarify the tournament’s organization.

According to the latest rumors, the governing body is seriously considering postponing the tournament until August.

This delay would allow for adjustments to the international calendar and give the competition greater visibility, while the teams await official confirmation to finalize their preparations.
