The Congolese Football Federation has officially announced a list of 29 players called up for a training camp in Algeria this March 2026.

Under the guidance of the head coach, this expanded squad will have the opportunity to build team cohesion before getting down to business in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled for next September.

The Young Lion’s schedule will feature two high-level friendly matches against the Algerian national team on March 27 and 30.

These two tests will allow the coaching staff to assess the talent pool and fine-tune tactical plays against a formidable opponent.

Between assessing the roster and establishing benchmarks, this trip to Algeria represents a pivotal step in building the backbone of the team that will carry Congolese hopes on the continental and Olympic stages.
