Harambee Stars Name Squad for 2026 FIFA Series in Rwanda

Kenya national football team have announced their final squad for the 2026 FIFA Series tournament set to take place in Rwanda, as the East African side continues preparations for upcoming international assignments.

The squad features a blend of locally based players and professionals playing abroad, reflecting the technical team’s intention to evaluate depth and cohesion within the team. Goalkeepers Byrne Omondi, Brian Bwire, and Ian Otieno headline the shot-stopping department.

In defence, the Harambee Stars have called up Frank Odhiambo, Abud Omar, Sylvester Owino, Zak Vyner, Rooney Onyango, and Daniel Sakari, providing a mix of domestic league experience and players competing in Europe.

The midfield unit includes Alpha Onyango, Duke Abuya, Richard Odada, Chris Erambo, and Manzur Suleiman, who will be tasked with controlling the tempo and linking play between defence and attack.

Up front, Kenya boasts a diverse attacking lineup featuring Austine Odhiambo, William Lenkupae, Job Ochieng, Mohammed Bajaber, Zech Obiero, Clarke Oduor, Michael Olunga, Ryan Ogam, and Lawrence Okoth.

The tournament in Rwanda will provide a valuable platform for Kenya to experiment with combinations, assess emerging talents, and build tactical chemistry. The Harambee Stars’ technical bench views the competition as an important step in strengthening the squad as the team targets improved performances in future continental and global qualifiers.
