The hosts wasted little time asserting their dominance, opening the scoring after just four minutes through Ismael Saibari. The midfielder finished off a well-worked move after being set up by Bilal El Khannouss, giving Morocco the perfect start. The result highlighted the depth and attacking firepower available to the Atlas Lions, who looked sharp and clinical across the 90 minutes.
For Madagascar, the heavy defeat serves as a reminder of the gap they must bridge against Africa’s elite sides. Morocco, meanwhile, will take plenty of confidence from a dominant performance in which they combined defensive solidity with ruthless finishing, ending the evening with a comprehensive 4-0 triumph.
