SLFA President Babadi Kamara has travelled to Ivory Coast to attend a FIFA consultative meeting on the upcoming FIFA Forward 4.0 programme.
The meeting will focus on discussions around the next phase of FIFA’s development project, as the current Forward 3.0 cycle comes to an end in 2026.
The new Forward 4.0 programme is expected to run from 2027 to 2030 and will continue to support member associations with funding for administration and infrastructure development.
The FIFA Forward programme, introduced under the leadership of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, is a key funding mechanism aimed at strengthening football development worldwide. While in Abidjan, President Kamara is also expected to attend one of the FIFA Series matches taking place in the city.
